I was a little aprehensive as to if the upgrade from home to pro would delete some of my apps However I found that during the install ther were different options including on to leave most existing docs and apps in place I did do a back up of all my essential stuff I followed the instuctions and all went ok.

One thing to opoint out - Pro works a little different from home as it is designed for compnies so acess to some system items are restricked. I upgraded because I have 2 computers and I wanted the same sytem on both.
